Since I recently started blogging I have come across this question by other bloggers: Do you read one book at a time or do you read many? This has been an interesting question for me. And my answer is actually surprising to me. Before I started the blog, I never would have dreamed of reading multiple books at once, well unless it was for school, but that is a whole other story... When I used to read I would drown myself in the book. It was tunnel vision. You literally had to yell at me to get my attention. I would be so absorbed in it. Back then I felt that if I wasn't giving the book my complete and full attention I would possibly miss something or I maybe I would forget important details.
Now i'm finding that it is actually a lot easier to go from one book to another. For instance I have my "everyday book" right now that is The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. This book is over 500 pages. Since I work 40hrs a week there is no way i'm going to be done with this in one sitting. So I read a little every day, when I don't have a story I'm reading for review.
So I guess my answer is that if I am reading a story that has been requested for review I will give it priority and my full attention. And then there is my everyday book....

I am currently reading Alice in WOnderland (again) by Lewis Carrol, Pride and Predjudice and Zombies Dawn of the Dreadfuls by Steven Hockensmith,Lamb by Christopher Moore and An Apple for Zoe by Tom Amo. I have read like this for as long as I can remember.
I just focus on one book, sometimes two but I find it hard to switch between the books and most of the time i can't watit to know what's going to happen next in a book.
@BookGirl Usually I do that, but since I work 40hrs a week 5days a week it I have to try to multi-task somehow... =)
